"I cannot tell you how moved and touched I am by all the love and support I, and the Venice Arts Council Endangered Art Fund Committee has been receiving from all of you. Keep in mind that these two murals were selected because the property owners contacted SPARC and myself, that if the graffiti is not removed, they will reluctantly have to paint them out.
Again, we can still gather our resources and make a difference. Special thanks to all of you, the Voice of the Canals, the Park Ave. Association, SPARC, the Venice Art Council members, and the many individuals who came out to be counted.
Respectfully, with love, Emily "Your Taxes and Contributions at work - Jaya Mural Read the article by Ann Arens on the Voice of the Canals Website
